Dear Subscriber,
I read an email sent by a friend, and the words rang so true. There is not a single woman out there who has not struggled to overcome difficulties at some point in her life. As women we all face challenges and discouragement. We need to recognize that challenges are part of our journey, they should never stop us, and we should never give up. With every challenge we become wiser and stronger and more prepared for the rest of our journey. I hope all the wonderful women out there had a fantastic woman's day.
For those of you who were expecting to do your tax returns on the SARS eFiling website, the South African Revenue Service (SARS) has announced a delay in the launch of the online tax filing facility, after pilot tests revealed system flaws.

SARS say they are expect the eFiling facility to be functional by next week. A staffer at business day has provided a full write up on the delay of this online system. Read the full story here.

This seems to be an era of delays and strikes. First was problem's with Eskom, then strikes in the education sector, then more unions started to strike and things started becoming very scary with the shortage of petrol. According to this report, the South African economy has experienced 'vigorous growth', rising employment, strengthening asset prices and rising international reserves.
